Reel Destinations: Our Brand New Australian Fishing Show

Covid might have stopped Kite Weeks but there’s no stopping us from fishing!

It’s no secret I love the ocean. Whether it’s surfing and kiting or fishing and boating. And it’s not just the catching I love, it’s the whole process from preparing the boat and gear right through to processing, cooking and of course eating the catch. Like everyone, COVID-19 has drastically changed the course of my year, and so instead of Kite Weeks in Fiji I’ve spent my time at home with my family on the Sunshine Coast. And fortunately I’ve been able to do some fishing here too!

Along with good friend and incredible fisherman, Dyllon Schulz, and a small film crew, we’ve started shooting a TV show of our adventures. Reel Destinations is all about exploring Queensland’s amazing coastline and the first episode is available to watch now. Check it out and let me know what you think!
